Game cancelled, to be rescheduled in mid-June

The game today is canceled b/c of field conditions.  The league will reschedule the match on either Saturday June 13th or Sunday June 14th.  Note that we could play the makeup game on a Saturday.  Save the date so we can finish the regular season strong.  The game could make the difference in making the playoffs.

We are off next week for Memorial Day Weekend.

Our next game is Sunday May 31st.

Playoffs are currently scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 20th.  We could play the initial rounds on Saturday and Sunday June 20th and 21st, with the final round Sunday June 28th.  If, however, it takes the league more than one weekend to fit in all the makeup games from the regular season, the commissioner has the option of truncating the playoffs to only 1 fixture date, probably on Sunday June 28th.  In that case, the seeding would be fixed in advance and we would only play one game.  Only the 1st and 2nd seed in each division would have the opportunity to play for promotion.  I'll let you know what the final playoff schedule looks like as soon as I know.
