Flu season

This gem of a photo was used by a certain unnamed member of the team for her facebook profile. It's a great photo and it got a lot of comments.

It's captures the mood. At least 3 players have caught the flu - but they licked it and there's nothing to be worried about.

That reminds me. What do Landon Donovan and Jackie have in common?

Answer: They both played a critical soccer game with flu-like symptoms. In August, Donovan was diagnosed with Swine Flu after complaining of dizziness and fatigue after the U.S.-Mexico match in Azteca. He wasn't at the top of his game, but he played all 90 and ran the full field. Similarly, Jackie came down with something like the flu after our game last weekend. Jackal will not be tickled by this comparison because she hates Landycakes. Thinks he is a wimp. I don't know what she's talking about though, he's been amazing for the MNT.
