Dearest Goleros, I just wanted everyone to know that I tried to test the ankle on Monday night during an indoor practice. I was, however, quickly kicked in the crotch by an errant shot and sat out the remainder of the game.
To summarize my status, the ankle is better, but the crotch is still residually tender. Needless to say, I am considering all your posts as I conduct a balancing test to determine my availability for Sunday's game. I am leaning towards "I'm in", but I still reserve my ultimate decision until later this week.
Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts on this blog. And no, just because Heather is now "Wristy" because of her injury, this does not mean that my new nickname will now be "Nutty", "Bally" or "Sgt. Testicles".
I'll probably be there - it pains me to miss a game. But I've got unfinished projects at home, and there are plenty of guys (provided Captain Balls shows up) so I'll make it a game hour decision.
My ankle is iffy from a good crack I got at the end of Sunday's game. I'll probably be a game time decision.
