To Whom It May Concern:

On behalf of 20 recreational soccer players and fans of DC United, I would like to present a modest donation in the amount of $180.00. We are happy to support United for DC’s mission of promoting literacy and healthy living among local children.

The Goleros are an adult, co-ed, recreational soccer team that plays in the Washington, D.C. area. We have been around for about six years, and we currently play in the Capital Coed Soccer League (CCSL – http://theccsl.com). Earlier this year, we decided to create a charity program in which we would reserve a portion of our bi-annual dues for charitable purposes. We named United for DC as our sponsored charity. We hope to make periodic donations – hopefully in increased amounts – in the future.
