In a recent post, I discussed the fact that DC United does not operate at a profit, allegedly because they don't have their own stadium. The stadium debate is a big deal for DCU. DCU wants to stay in the District, but city officials are lukewarm on the idea of putting up cash for a stadium. Prince Georges County is making a bid to build the stadium, but DCU's fan base is lukewarm on that idea. What will happen? Who knows.
